The various Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) terminals across Lagos State were without vehicles on Tuesday morning.
It was gathered that all BRT operations have been halted following the murder of Bamise Ayanwole. 22-year-old who was abducted and gruesomely murdered after boarding a BRT.
It is understood that the decision by the management of Primero Transport Services, operators of Blue BRT buses, is stopped temporary.
Meanwhile, fresh information on Tuesday morning showed that the police in Lagos were in possession of late Ayanwole’s body since Sunday and took her to a morgue, but refused to provide information until the family became aware on Monday.
It is also being alleged that the same bus the deceased was last seen in, worked for days after the incident.
